...just dont get all mushy on me...
.
as a few of you know I am post op from shoulder surgery and was getting in some bad shape!
2nd heaviest I have even been in my life...
.
well I got the trek 850 and started to ride just for fun and then started doing some actual miles...
.
well those actual miles on the high way sucked on a MTB!!! so I decided "I am 45 minutes aways from the Pine Ridge area here in Nebraska" started going up there and riding on some fire roads and singletracks (7 year old is holding me back I tell ya!!!) .

3 inches off my waist... 3.5 inches off the gut... you can see the change in my but, chin and stomach for sure!!! legs feel huge compared to before and I am missing 20 some odd pounds... heh...heh
I gots the cycling shorts, i gots the MTB shoes... I got an ancient Hardrock...
.
and the road bike... cannot find someone who is wheel friendly or cheap enough so i am going to try to build my own 36 spoke bomb proof for the rear...
.
saving road biking until spring cause of $ but I live in rural NE and I have miles and miles of dirt roads that dont have as much traffic as the highways do... I'm going to do my miles there! and the Pine Ridge for fitness checks ;)
.
well it has been fun so far, the best part is my son has been there through most of it... and it beats the heck out of him sittin gon couch! BTW I sold all my XBOX stuff and my TV... to afford my new addiction...
