If you ride to your local spot (as opposed to drive), do you air up your tires a bit for your pavement ride back home?

Don't usually like to ride on the road to the local rides, but it's several miles of pavement so I have been known to start off with higher pressure to get there then let it out some, but am usually too tired to bother adding more on the way home (plus it's mostly a downhill trip on the return anyways).
