Well today was my first organized ride and my first shirt :D (they gave us a water bottle to but I have them already). The ride started early 7:00 am sign in, the weather couldn't have been better, cool slightly cloudy (just the rays of the sun coming through the breaks in the clouds ) My only wish would have been to ride on less chip-seal. One mistake I may have made is on Friday I rode to Albany and back (39 miles) with only one day of down time in between. I found that my butt got sore after around 10 miles instead of after the usual 25 mile mark. Other then the sore butt I think I could have ridden the metric alright. I think I need to try and find a different seat (I'm thinking narrower and less padding) any recommendations would be great.

The Osprey were just some of the wildlife I saw< I also had a Crane take flight right beside me as I rode by him on a creek. It was a great ride and I cant wait for the next

I dont htink you were riding near Imdependence OR. That bridge isnt too old , its the same age as my brother. Those bridges look nice, but the planks can have gaps that eat front tires.

You did great TC.:thumb: I can't believe how much weight you have dropped since we did our rid together not that long ago. I'm sure you will be ready for your metric with no problems. I posted my own ride report with pictures of the other bridges that yo did not see, I am sure you will be able to see them all next year. :thumb:

Nice TC, sorry I was not able to meet you in person today, I'll just have to wait till 9/5. The ospreys where a great treat along the back half of the ride back in.
