There is a guy locally that is selling a pair of Dahon Mariner 26" bikes. After doing a google search, they appear to be 2002 vintage. The frame is a bit different then the more recent 26" Dahons. Does anyone have insight into these bikes? I am going to take a look at them either tomorrow or Tuesday. I think I definitely have folderitis now.

I bought the pair of 2002 Mariner 26 bikes. Now I have two 16", two 20", and two 26" Dahons. Is there a 12 step program for Dahonians?
Does anyone know anything regarding the 2002 26" bikes? I cannot find much at all.

Step 1: Admit that you are powerless to stop yourself from buying Dahon folding bicycles.

I cleaned and tuned one of the Mariner 26 bikes. Pictures are below. Nice ride with low miles. I am going to try to sell it locally. It should be a good bike for a school or work commute. Maybe another boater will pick it up.

Sold both of the Mariner 26 folders for more than triple what I paid for them.

Actually a little of both. I paid for my Dahon Jetstream P8 by buying 4 from a family and selling 3 for more than I paid for 4.
The sale of the Mariner 26s more than paid for the Dahon Piccolo I just bought for my wife. She loves her 16" Dahon Classic III Mariner, but I wanted to get her on something that was newer technology (especially brakes).
My folder total stands at 4 now. I still want to find a pair junked Dahon Classics and make a folding longtail bike.
