Southern California - anybody have a GMAP for riding through camp pendleton?

when heading down through san clemente, where do you actually get on base? las pulgas? it's been about a year since i've done this, and even then i was following other people.
Enter Las Pulgas gate, at .4 miles turn right on Stuart Mesa Rd. It's the first intersection, a T-intersection with a sweeping right turn. Follow Stuart Mesa Rd for 7-8 miles. Turn right on Vandegrift. There's a light at this intersection. Go another 1.5 miles and you'll exit the base.
Make sure you have a picture ID - you won't get on the base without it.

The guards on duty will tell you how to get through.

Ride down past San-O, through the camground and along old Hwy1. It will pass under the 5, then split off to the right as soon as you exit the tunnel. Don't go straight there. They don't like that.
When you take the split to the right, you'll know you're on the right track when you hit a paved/marked bike trail. That will quickly spit you out onto an airstrip. Follow that all the way down to the gate/parking lot, and the road you see going east/west is Las Pulgas. Turn left under the railroad bridge. You'll see the guard shack at the top of the hill.
