I was looking at cyclingnews feature on the specialized bikes of Domina Vacanze's bikes. when I saw the TT bike, though, I noticed that the crank was an old-school dura-ace, not the newer, two piece. I would think that for a TT the newer crank would be really desired...so, what gives? here's the pic btw. http://www.cyclingnews.com/photos/2004/tour04/tech/?id=specialized/CN-TDF04-Tech08

They also didn't have bar end shifters, instead using old nine speed dura ace sti's. Maybe since the team has no real aspirations in the TT they weren't too worried about decking them out? Sounds like they are using a new frame so it's not like they just carried over bikes from last year.
