For those who wanted to escape the Bridge Pedal crowd you couldn't beat the Covered Bridge Tour this weekend in Albany. Weather was pleasant, the course was mostly flat and fast with very little wind, and the event organization was excellent. I seldom ride flat roads for any significant distance and it was fun to spin it up.
