Here it is:

Its the X3, in case you can't see it. I should add that this is for knocking around town and short day rides - all on street. I know there are faster bikes, but I ride for excercise, not speed or weight, etc. i wanted a decent, durable bike in this price range that will be comfortable to ride, and relatively maintence free. I wanted to try disk breaks and shocks. I noticed this has rims with eyelets, so I thought it seems liek a very good bike for the price (about $500). The only thing it doesn't have it lockout on the shocks, but it that that big a deal anyway? Your ideas?
BTW, I'm coming from a 10 year old suspensionless, lever brake, Rockhopper that is ready to
Thanks!

I just notised the GT Avalanche 2.0 on sale as well. It's about the same price as the X3.

Which bike is better? I think the rims are better on the X3. And the GT has lockout.

If you're going to be keeping it on the street or bike trails I'd probably get the GT for the lockout fork. It also provides 20mm more travel as well if you ever do take it out on some trails. Other than that I think it's a wash as to which one is better. Pick one up and have fun riding it.

I'm leaning toward the GT as well.
Here's a couple more, about the same price. What do you think?
