may be of interest...in a billy mays promotion type of way

it looks like it was built on top of a kid trailer frame

The center of gravity looks way too high to me. You'd really have to turn very slowly.

Sweet but too big and high.

Looks like the underlying frame might be based on one of these designs: http://bikecart.pedalpeople.com/

The frame is a 8-10 year old Burly kid trailer with the fabric and top crossmember removed then his wood box attached to it. I have this identical trailer frame (right down to the reflector style). My wife got it at a garage sale for $10.

::Edit:: Looks like he dropped his price to $299... maybe he caught wind of this thread and realized that $50 in materials and 3 hours of labor isn't worth $400...

I wonder why he wouldn';t have mounted the wood frame down lower

That was my thought too.

PS - you can get a burley nomad new for less than that...

Heck, you could by any NEW wally kids world trailer and do the same thing for less than $100...

Exactly. $300 for homebuilt? You can get a used trailer and materials from Home depot for way less than that if you have a bit of carpentry skills. Simple construction on the wooden bed.

When posting about Craigslist ads, you need to take a screenshot of the ad and post that photo somewhere, because people take the ads down when the item sells (or if they just get bugged too much about it).
