hey crimsonsnake,
you only want to add 6volts? :-))
I had a 48v and i added 24v in series, for 72 volts and ... it's super cool. :D
i'm not a pro, just a jo.. so i'll tell you what i've experienced and more capable members can add to that
things you need to consider, briefly:
controller must be able to take the voltage/amps (i know, because i fried mine :roflmao2:)
make sure you add a torque arm to your powered wheel if you don't have one already (again, i know cuz my axle just spun out of the square due to the amount of torque generated)
you may need to add a diode to both batteries to protect the bms of each respective battery depending on what your overall voltage will be (and yep, i know this too cuz i fried one of the bms in my 72 volt setup because lack of diode )
ok, this may sound a bit ignorant, but maybe if you showed some pictures that may help other memembers identify what parts you're using? :innocent: We have some pretty bright folks here that can most likely give you some insight based on that.
