Northern California - help me find a front wheel

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. I got MyLilPony some monkeylights (http://www.monkeylectric.com/) for our anniversary. Really. No laughing. It's what she wanted.
We put them on her Surly Crosscheck commuter bike, but they are rather clunky for daily riding.
I'm looking to get a very very reasonably priced 700c front wheel, used or new, that's solid enough to commute on, but not at all fancy, then install the lights on it.
Suggestions? Have one laying about?

Hey, Curtis,
PM me - I have 2 wheelsets lying around that I don't use anymore - one a Shimano 550, one a Neuvation M28. In both cases I had trouble with the rear wheel, but the front is fine. Not the greatest commuter wheels (both are low spoke count, the Neuvation is fairly stiff), but the Neuvation in particular has a reputation for being strong.
FWIW, I was able to flex the rear 550 into the brake pads on climbs, and after about 10k miles I started breaking spokes on the rear Neuvation, which is why I moved on to different wheels.

edit: if you want an idea of what the Neuvations are like, the Forte Titans sold by Performance are almost identical - the hubs and rims look like they are the same, the Neuvations have slightly wider spokes.

I have two front wheels I need to get out of my garage.

Sounds like you're all set, but in case not, Performance always seems to have some wheels/wheelsets that are super-cheap.

Wow! thanks you all. jonathanb715 (http://www.bikeforums.net/member.php?u=77499), I think we'll check PZips wheels as she's about 5 minutes from us.
Zipster: Let's get together and barter. I need a phone number!

Sorry, no wheel.
But these lights will sure make a heck of an impression when she arrives at school. Is it a ploy to entice students to arrive early, nobody will want to miss it... well at least the first week.

Naw, I'm just trying to outdo my students on their scraper bikes!
