Hello im new to bmx and all and i want to get a bmx bike in the price range of 200-300 (it could be a little over 300), so i was thinking would it be better to build one or buy one.

Also any good sites to look up bmx bikes?

danscomp.com is a good 1 as well as albes.com..... it is a better idea to buy 1

yea danscomp is fast,but reliable..mm not so sure,i orderd a Stolen Pinch 2009 and they gave me a Kink Launch 2010,i aboustly stuck with it though^_^

oh and the order only took 5 days.

Building a quality bike can cost over $1000.

Easily over a $1000. The new Stolen build kit can help keep that cost way down though.

Stolen Cheater build kit ($550) + Sunday 2nd wave ($250) = almost custom bike for $800.
