I was following the Tour De France this morning. The guy for cycling news said that quote "Nature is calling many riders in the bunch at the moment, and there is no option but to answer the call." What do the riders do when they have to go. Do they follow them with a portable bathroom or what? Could some on please shed some light on this topic.

If it's slow enough they pull over and do it. If they can't pull over they simply go while moving. I'm too tired to explain the mechanics of it.

McEwen just dropped off the back, had a crap in the bushes and is getting paced back to the bunch by his teamates.

Best to hose the non drive side if possible. You'll be surprised at how fast that chain will rust. ;)

that explains why the team mechanics are always lubing up the chains mid-race :D
