Except in the TT when they all had discs in the back but otherwise I haven't seen any Rabobank rider
riding aero wheels.
Whilst almost every rider in the tour uses aero or semi aero wheels Im considering this as a big disadvantage.

I wondering that as well. I thought maybe they did it because of the wind that day, figuring that an aero wheel in a crosswind could be a disadvantage. Maybe?

I would like to know what tire Phonak is using and then stay the heck away from those flat-o-matics!

No kidding. $10k bikes and $2.50 Walmart tyres!

its not even just on the TT's either. its on the regular road race stages. I can see the logic of using a really light tire for something like a TT...but c'mon...a 200K road race?
