Hi all,
I ride to work 3-4 days a week, about 20 miles with moderate hills in both directions. I'm currently 5'11 and about 170lbs. I'm trying to reduce the beer belly that is starting while I'm still young. (27 y/o). Don't really care to gain or lose weight. With that I started tracking my diet using an online calorie counter. I picked an "active lifestyle" even though I'm fairly sedentary when not riding. (Walking, house duties, bike wrenching etc).
I've found that I'm eating about 1800 calories a day when I don't dip into the trail mix I keep at my desk. Yesterday even though I ate often, and when I was hungry (no HUGE meals, but eating smaller portions about once every hour or two throughout the day), it still listed me as having a negative value for net calories taken in.
For the days I ride, how much should I be taking in?
