Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I went to the LBS with a buddy of mine and took a look around and the store manager offered me a pretty good deal on a 2006 Fuji Team bike, still in the box. The bike is carbon frame and fork, aluminum stem and handlebars. The rear derailer is Ultegra, front is a 105, and 105 shifters. I got the bike for $840 out the door, bike still in the box. Luckily my buddy is good with bikes, and his friend does fittings on bikes, so it worked out. Here are a couple of pics, the bike and my helpers.

Nice! So the one on the right assembled it for you and the one on the left fit you to the bike?

That was part of the deal to get it at that price. Otherwise it was going to be $200 more, which was not a bad deal, but since my friend was able to do it, and had all the tools for everything I decided to save the $200. Also, the bike was listing at $1295 but the owner said it was time to start getting rid of them.
I like it, it rides nice, and can't wait to get my first century in next month with it, then the MS 150 Oct 3&4.

It's actually very comfortable for me...I am 5'11" 220lbs, and have lost 20 lbs since July 1, and going for a goal of around 200.
