I have a 2008 Bianchi San Jose:
Rear dropout spacing: 130 mm
Chainline: 46 mm

I want to use a Sturmey-Archer S3X rear hub:
O.L.D.: 120 mm
Chainline: 46 mm

I want to replace the San Jose's rear hub with the (hopefully) soon-to-be-released Sturmey-Archer (SA) 3-speed fixed gear S3X hub. Technical drawing from the SA blog: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_SCUutbkkCn8/SSNGJStUBXI/AAAAAAAAAIo/ZOZHM0FGOgI/s1600-h/S3X+Detail.jpg

Can I simply insert a 5 mm spacer on both the left and right sides of the S3X hub to make the O.L.D. 130 mm and have the chainline unchanged at 46 mm? If so, where should these spacers go? Just inside of the outer locknuts?
