Introductions - It's hellishly hot...

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Greetings from the Florida Keys! It's damn hot and flat here. I've switched to riding to give my knees a break from running. Now my butt hurts, but I digress. My introduction to this forum was an old thread about cheap Walmart bikes. It was interesting and funny. I hope the rest of the stuff here is as enjoyable.

Welcome to the Forums mammatus! It's hot up here in Illinois too...92 degrees by noon and riding in it was hot hot hot...my regular route includes 1260 feet of climbing. The heat makes it feel as hot as where you're at! In June we're normally down your way a bit (Sanibel Island on the Gulf side)...it's hot and flat, throw 1260 feet of climbing in and it would be almost unrideable this time of year, I suspect!
