Does anyone know of any safe biking areas in Cleburne. I have a cruzer (need pavement) not a trail bike.

You could try the routes for the Goatneck ride earlier this year - it was a lot of fun and had either wide shoulders or very low traffic.

Also if you head out Nolan River past the lake and keep going until it T's hang a left or right and all of the county roads out that way are very accustomed to seeing cyclist. Seems to help riding where drivers are used to it. I ride that direction usually to Rio Vista and back through the country.

I'll definitely have to check that out, I'll have to drive my truck to the lake though (it's not safe crossing Henderson). I'm not sure I'll be able to make it as far as Rio Vista yet, maybe after I work some of this exterior insulation off:winter:.
