Just wondering if anyone has bought this light as an accessory to their Exposure Headlight. I really want to know how well it works in the day time. What are your impressions?

Thanks.

I picked one of these up for use as a helmet-mounted taillight with a Joystick. At night, it definitely puts out a lot of light, but during the day you'll want to supplement it with something else since the LED is right out there with no optics or flash modes.

- Look at RE unit (http://128.255.92.80/eb/re1.jpg)
- From 20 feet away (http://128.255.92.80/eb/re2.jpg)

If you mean the bigger one with the P4 LED (http://www.exposurelights.com/products/redeye/index.php), it's blindingly bright and some people I've rode trails with at night have asked me to turn it off.

I was thinking about the P4 LED. Is that bright enough for day time? I guess it only has one mode to. No flash?

The P4 is definitely bright enough for daytime use, but no flash mode. I just supplement it with a Superflash and call it a day. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the input. I geeked out and just ordered it a few hours ago.
I guess it is so bright that if it had a flash mode it would probably be very annoying!!
