Bicycle Mechanics - Chain advice?

My bike has a 1/8" chain (Sturmey Archer hub). I want to easily take the chain off the bike for cleaning and put it back on again. I've examined my existing KMC chain and don't see any kind of Powerlink or master link that would allow this.

So, what do I need to buy to make this happen? Links to products appreciated.

All of the solutions I've found are advertised for 3/32" chains and they say nothing about 1/8" chains.

It's odd, because one-eighth chains always had a removable link, many years before they started to appear on the narrower derailleur chains. They were a cruder arrangement, with one side plate with two pins, a removable side plate, and a spring clip which holds the removable plate on, and can be extremely fiddly. I've never seen a continuous one-eighth chain. Is yours of recent manufacture? One thing which does occur to me is that, if the chain were fitted facing the opposite way, this spring clip may not be apparent. It would be facing inwards towards the chain stays.

Thanks for the reply. The chain is a KMC stainless steel chain from 2008 - factory original on Downtube Mini. I checked all the links and didn't see any that look different from any other - I'm not sure what exactly to look for - I was looking for a link with a higher profile, or perhaps some cutouts or a spring clip. Didn't see anything. Of course, the chain is kinda grungy (which is why I want to remove it in the first place...) I could take a few pictures of it if that would help.

I'm lazy so the masterlink solution is appealing. I'd break the chain if it isn't a giant PITA to reassemble.

I have a little chain tool on my Alien multitool. Haven't used it yet. I assume that once I break the chain, I'll need a brand new pin to reassemble it properly? If that is correct then I must go get some pins.

I have seen 1/8 chains sans masterlink. It's also entirely possible it was removed.

I thought I remember seeing some that did not have a retaining clip. one side was 'spring loaded' to make the pins spread if the other side plate was not on and this spring tension held it in place. but it was a basic oval plate and not typical "8" shape of most side plates
