hey guys.. what's the best way to remove the handle grips from the bike? i would still need to reuse it again, so cutting it up is not an option...

any suggestions?

Stick a WD40 nozzle under the end and squirt a couple times. Then try to twist/pull the grip. Should work!

If you have an air compressor and a trigger nozzle, you can blow some compressed air underneath them. Should work without any mess. Squirting water also works and you don't have to clean the oil off before reinstalling, but it's a bit harder to get the water spread around.

I use WD-40 to remove and install grips. It dries out pretty quickly.

This is probably the only legitimate use for WD-40 on a bicycle.

Water or alcohol works.
If you don't have an air compressor, get canned air at any office supply store, tape close the ends of the grip if there's a hole at the end. Lift up a small section, stick the tiny hose in as far as possible and let loose some air, should push it right out.
Repeat the procedure with a wet handle bar when reinstalling.

Hair spray works best for reinstalation.
