Well... as my firts half ironman is comming, I am planning my nutricion schedule for the race.

My guess for the calories we spend during the race is (more or less) 3.000 cal. So, starting with 1.600 cal, I have to "eat" at least 1.400 cal during the race. Is that correct?

My plan:

1 GU 15m before swimming (100cal)
1 GU 20m after swimming (during the bike) (100cal)
2 Gatorades during the bike (240cal)
1 GU every 30m during the bike and run +5 GU on the bike + 3 on the run (800cal)
1 Gatorade during the race (120cal)
Total = 1360cal

Any ideas? Tips?
