Why don't bikes rust when left on cement the same way cars and motorcycles do?

Steel bikes rust just like steel cars.
Aluminum, titanium, and carbon fiber bikes don't rust -- similar to a car made from the same materials.
There is an oxidative process that occurs with Al, but ... that's another story for another day ;)

My car's been parked on cement for the past 8 years and isn't rusting.
