Southern California - 2009 Bicycle Film Festival Coming To Los Angeles

The 2009 Bicycle Film Festival is coming to Los Angeles later this month. One of the sponsors is (drum rolling please) Dahon.-at least for Los Angeles. So make an effort to come here or at a city listed on the homepage of the Website. To see the Website:

Alice, Folder, David, Tamara - which programs are you going to come to?

I'm organizing a lot out here but looking forward to sneaking away so I can watch the 5:30 program on Sat - "Keirin Queen" about a Japanese woman who becomes a Keirin racer!!

also really want to see "Cooking Up Bike Co-ops in LA" - by Clarence Eckerson Jr. - he makes really cool shorts about all sorts of bicycle things all around the world.

also - the theater we have this year is A LOT smaller than in the past.. if there is a particular program you want to see it might be a good idea to get your tickets online in advance.

THere will be BICYCLE VALET provided by LACBC!

I'm not sure I'll be attending as money will be tight this month. We're taking an East Coast trip and after that we're poor :) However, perhaps we'll ride down to the after party. Is that free? We are not even a ten minute bike ride from Orange 20

You will probably see me there with one of my folding bikes (naturally) at the Sunday's party event only.
