Pacific Northwest - Portland / Seattle / in-between advice

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Running over and up to the pacific northwest in about a week. Any advice on what shouldn't be missed there?
We're up for advice on bars, restaurants, good spots to visit, and shortish, city-based rides that wont kill us when we're hung over.
Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Portland has boatloads of brewpubs and in-town riding. Not saying that you should mix the two, though...

Nice 33-mile loop of Seattle....passes lots of bars and restaurants (downtown, Fremont, International District, Pioneer Square, etc.).
