I am trying to decide which used bike to buy?
The motobecane Elite or the other motobecane. Can anyone tell me which would be the better deal if they are both asking $200 for each bike?

Those are both from BikesDirect.com originally - yes? There's too many variables at play to give an educated answer. Starting with: Who built them up? Did the person hire a bike-shop mechanic to do the job? Or were they just screwed together with some WD-40?
Personally I'd counsel that - unless you are a bike-mechanic who has built bikes up from the bare frame - that you buy a bike from a bike-shop. This may appear to cost more, but it may well save you a fortune. This way you get specific guarantees and warranty. For instance most shops will fine-tune anything that comes loose during, say, 6 months. Some manufacturers' give a lifetime warranty should the frame ever break. You get a full tune-up within the first 6 months. So forth - read the fine-print. This can save you a bundle of money down the road <koff>.
If you buy used, you get no warranty - unless it's from a bike-shop also.

Ahh I gotcha. Guess it would be prudent to find out the answers to those questions.
I am really just interested in getting a used Hybrid to try out to see if I like it. Then buy a new one in the next couple of months. I figure I can resell the used bike to recoup most of the $200.

Could be an optical illusion but the fork in that first one looks bent back at the head tube.

I think $200 for a used mountain bike style hybrid, unless it has some really nice components is on the very high end of the price range.
I bought my Sedona DX for about $400 new, and that included a brand new frame, brand new components, a warranty and free tune-ups. I'm pretty sure that you can find bike shop quality hybrids for under $300 brand new.

By the way, for those 2 bikes, I would get the one without front suspension (if the fork isn't bent) because I don't like suspension. I removed it from my Sedona.
You may like it if you ride on really rough roads, and don't like standing when going over bumps... or just your personal preference.

I say buy both and modify each differently. Seriously!
