Thanks Ron H for the welcome message.

My name is David and i'm a 29 year old male living in Oswego, IL (Chicagoland western suburbs) and consult across the United States on Networking Infrastructures and Operating Systems.

I started cycling last summer on a cheap no name bike. I usually ride with two friends. On my last ride of the summer I got a flat and had to walk 3 miles back to the car. I know, next time take a repair kit and pump with you.

I recently purchased a Haro Mountian Bike and am looking forward to the warmer spring weather when I can hit the trails. I took my bike for a ride last week but theres still too much snow on the trails.

I am interested in RC cars, could possibly add planes too at a later date.

Anybody know of any good trails in northern Illinois or southern Wisconsin?

Welcome aboard! This is a great place to hang out and shoot the breeze with other cyclists. In fact, I can think of at least two -- ViciousCycle and Oscar -- from your area, who might be able to point you at some trails.

Keep riding... and bring a spare. :)
