I am looking for a good biking radio. I want decent AM/FM reception. I want external speakers and probably digital tuning. Weather info and CD would be nice but not mandatory. Also waterproof and easy to carry. Ideally something that could be carried in a basket or strapped to a handlebar.
Right now I have the little ETON (solar powered, flashlight, etc) but reception and battery life sucks. I thought about going up to their 600 model, which is digital but I fear it will have the same limitations as my current one (although it can also run on AA batteries). It has some nice features (weather, TV, flashlight) but is bulky.
Sony has a shower radio/CD that I am also considering and I have seen some Gruendigs (sp) online.
Help, I need my tunes and I do not like the headphone thingys.
