Just bought a Bridgestone Kabuki Submariner-12 Road Bike 12-spd off ebay. Looked at a couple reviews couldnt find much on it. Looks like a decent bike, and looks to be in great condition. Can anyone tell me anything about it? It comes in on monday. Pic below

IIRC, that bike is unusual in the sense that it used stainless steel tubing.

My uncle, a boat owner bought a Dahon stainless steel folding bike to have on his boat so he had basic transportation anywhere he lands. I suspect that many of these stailess steel bikes might have been and are being sold to boat owners because of their frame's corrosion resistance when used/stored in marine environments.

Your bike has stainless steel main tubes connected by aluminum lugs. It uses a quill style seatpost with the adjusting nut on top of the post, just under the saddle.

They ride very nicely, quiet and smooth.

Only drawback, they weigh a ton.
