Post this in Craigslist and tell pawnshops/bikeshops about it.

IMHO. Next time, be a little more proactive & take a few minutes and register and TAG your BMX before it rides off on its own. There are several free Bike Registry services on the net. Beats the he%$ out of wasting a bunch of time monitoring eBay & CL once it goes missing; which at this time is your only option to make a recovery.

To him it might be. But I'm sure he appreciates you bashing on his bike.
OP: Put wanted ads in craigslist for a bike similiar to it. Another thing to do is (Like Fuzzbox said) to check pawn shops and give them a pic of it as well. LBS's are really good at keeping an eye out for bikes that are stolen but you have to call them and let them know. Having a description and a pic for them to keep helps out a lot.
Good luck!
