Geomangear used to have re-furb 705s at a very nice price. However, they have not listed any for a few weeks and I've seen on some other sites that there is a nation wide backorder (on the refurbs). E-bay seems like your best bet (right now).

I just ordered one on ebay for $405 delivered with the hrm and speed/cadence sensors. It was the best price I could find on a new one. I found some refurbs for sale at around $368 at superdigitalcity.com if that interests you. I've never ordered anything from them however.

Nashbar has a 20% off coupon this weekend, but they only have the Team Garmin edition (i.e., fully loaded). Still, it's a good price for a non-grey-market version ($520). They've been in and out of stock this week, though.

I bought one of the refurb units about 2 weeks ago for $368. Shipped was $375. It took eight days to get to Vegas from New York, but I'm happy with it. It looks brand new. I got the hrm, speed & cadence sensors but no maps. I ordered through Neweggmall and it came from Electronica Direct.
