I was out in Colorado Springs for two weeks, and just for something to do on the weekend went over to Challenge Unlimited (http://bikithikit.com/) where I participated in a very well organized rental ride down Pikes Peak. While still being a flatlanderm the part of Tampa I live in is a 16 feet MSL, riding above 10,000 feet presents some challenges never encountered in FL. Even though the ride is better than 95% downhill coasting, those few sections that were up hill were killers to me.
The staff, SAG vehicle driver, and Ride leader were extremely friendly and very knowlegable in all areas needed for the ride. There are a few companies providing similiar services, but these guys really outdid themeselves to ensure everyone (of very different skill sets) had a great ride.
