Work is sending me there for a week and I want to take my bike with me. Anybody familiar with the area? Any great rides to justify taking it? I should also add it's a road bike.

I don't know the area. There are a couple of bike clubs in the Reno area: Reno Wheelmen (www.renowheelmen.org (http://www.renowheelmen.org)) and Alta Alpina (www.altaalpina.org (http://www.altaalpina.org)).
