Hi, my bike has a 31.8 clamp thing and i was hoping to get a moustache bar or a cruiser bar for more of that town bike look. However it is really rare to find a 31.8mm moustache bar while i can get a $15 25.4mm one. Would it work or should i try to look for a 31.8mm one?

You could always use a shim or look for a stem that fits your requirements.

I made a shim out of a plastic pipefitting . Works fine.

shimming 25.4 to 26 is ok, but to 31.8 is pretty significant

25.4 to 31.8 shim is fine. Been running one for years, on and off road.
