has anyone here tried those yet or has heard about those? They seem to be very reasonable in price.

Nashbar TT Bar (http://www.nashbar.com/profile.cfm?sku=8448)
Nashbar TT Brake Lever (http://www.nashbar.com/profile.cfm?sku=8047)

i'm going to be adding this combo with my Syntace C2 Aero bar + Shimano Bar End Shifter (http://www.nashbar.com/profile.cfm?sku=3043)

is there anything else i'm missing here or would need?

I had some bars simular to that a long time ago, back then they were called LA Bars, I loved them, they are a bit old school to now a day TT bars, but they are great to ride on, especially when going down a grade or hill, you can lean out way over the front wheel and feel the speed increase.
I got some profile brake levers for my sons TT bike and they seem cool, unfortunately I wont be picking up his TT bike from the LBS till next weekend, so I cant give you an honest opinion on the levers...
good luck and ride safe

thanks bianchi rider.. that's good to know. the bullhorn bars seems pretty decent, and the brake level is the only one they have at nashbar... so, guess i'll give that a try.

Hard to believe you could make that bike look even more ridiculous, but I beleive that using the bar cons on bullhorns might just put you over the top. The TT levers are the icing on the cake.

Where will you attach the streamers if you switch to bar cons?

how will you use both the brakes and bar cons? got 4 holes for it all? here is what I have. my bar is the profile bar it was on clearence from nashbar. I have the same bar cons. this setup works great though I use regular brake levers.

actually steve.. the bar cons will be on my C2 aero bar, and then brakes will be on the bullhorn bar. so yup.. 4 holes for it all.

that's a nice setup you have there. i thought about doing that after seeing ur pic before, but since i had already bought the C2 aero bar, i figure i'd go the tt route instead.

I see what you mean. I still want to get the brakes facing the other way. see the price for the dura ace bar cons? they are less then the ulterga hows that for silly (G)

steve.. i know exactly what you mean! when i saw that i was like.. wow.. dura-ace for that cheap? doesn't make any sense does it? but since i only have 8 speed... i figure better stick to something that is made to work for 8 or 9 speed one. i was going for the 8 speed sti shifters.. but they are kinda pricey... and since i have the aero bar.. better use it instead of letting it go to waste. i've never worked on a bike before.. so i'm really excited to get the stuff and start working on it. it's a perfect bday present for myself.. :P

I use the Nashbar bullhorns on my fixed gear and really like them. Good price, good quality. I use them with a Cane Creek bar-end brake lever, which I can also recommend (got mine from Excel).
