...my first bike was a '75 XS650. I rode the hell out of that bike. Wish I still had it. *sniff* My Harley Road King is cool, but that ole 650 was "special".

Watching the show "Twist the Throttle" on HD Theater, this week it was the history of Kawasaki (previously it was Honda). Those classic sport bikes are amazing! Now I want a 2-cycle Mach 3 500.

Keep an eye out for the MV Agusta edition of Twist the Throttle. It really gives you an appreciation for MV's. I know it made me appreciate mine much more than I did prior to watching it.

When I was fifteen I wanted a Super Rat worse than I wanted a car. All my friends thought I was more than a little strange. :o

In 1976 my friend had one just like that one ^^^ :)
It was set-up for short track and scrambles with crazy port
and polish job, Carlisle tires and a carb of a Wombat :eek:
It would'nt run under what seemed like 10,000 rpm. :lol:
Highsides were in abundance :)
Its hard to describe to someone how a 'lil 100cc can scare
you silly !! :eek:
