Anyone can provide more details on this bike?

Seller is asking for $50CAD. He claimed that the bike has no mechanical problem but the bike looks very scartched up.

$50, worth it or just same my money for something better? :rolleyes:

If you're going to buy a Raleigh Record, early to mid 70s, for $50, it should look like the pic below, not like the one you're looking at. Offer the dude $30 is you are really interested.

The crank arms look like they may not be parallel. The right one looks parallel to the ground and the left one pointing up a little. Tough to tell.

Yeah, wait for something better. Definitely not worth $50 CAD, as is.

If you're dead-set on it, see if he'll take the bike, (no lock--it's about as secure as yarn) for the $30 quoted above.
