Hi. I'm new to this bike world. I saw this used triathlon bike for sale at a local Pawn Shop for $575 and I need your expert opinions. Here are the specifications and pictures:
Tim Trial Handlebars and Seat
Aluminum and Carbon Frame
Carbon Fork
Shimano Ultegra Groupset
FSA Crank 39-53 17.5 cm Arms
Spinergy Rev X Clincher Wheels 700c
Size Large 57.5cm Virtual Top Tube
Thank you for your inputs.
Yes. With those wheels and handlebars, $575 is very fair for that bike. If you do buy it, you may want to take the bike to the bike shop to make sure there are no hidden problems in the frame. Otherwise, good find!

Its a good deal IF the bike fits you...if it fits and your LBS says everything looks good, then its a great deal, otherwise the bike could be free and it wouldn't be worth it IMO!

Thank you for your opinions. I definitely go to the bike shop to check for problems if I do buy it. I'm 5'6 and I don't know if this bike is a little bit too tall for me or not. How about adjust the seat?

agree with it being a good deal. you might also want to by a cheap training wheelset so you don't break the aero wheels

That bike is way to big for you.
I'm 5'11, and my road bike is a 56 cm, and my tri bike is a 58 cm. The bike in question is a 5.5 cm size large. or you, at 5'6", the bike is quite a bit too large for you. Just as a semi educated guess, you need a 52-53 cm bike. However, that is a very rough guess. You really need to go to a bike shop and get fitted out on a properly sized bike.

Those wheels are pretty sic that alone would make it worth considering, but if that bike is 55cm it's most likely waaaaaaaaaaay to big unless you have weird proportions. Adjusting the seat in this case wouldn't work, if you can stand over the bike flat footed and have some space between your nutz and the frame that's a good initial indicator of a potentially good fit but there are other factors like the size of the crank etc, there really isn 't a simple answer when it comes to fit. Like Rahzel said it's the wheels and the handlebars that make it worth considering the rest of the components are just okay with the exception of that piece of crap FSA crank which should be melted down for scrap and used in US landmines to kill our enemies.
