I have read a lot about the race and watched post race interviews with many contestants and what not. Here is a brief article about it http://www.examiner.com/x-1155-Cycling-Examiner~y2009m8d15-Lance-Armstrong-wins-rainy-Leadville-Trail-100-Mountain-Bike-in-course-record. He finished in 6:28:50 beating the record by 16 minutes. Like him or not, this is impressive.

He did ride Sram XX this year. Those pics above are the bike he rode in last year's Leadville. I dunno why RateZeroHero posted them.

i am not sure why people do not like lance. people always start to not like those on top. i hope he wins a couple more tours!

i kinda wanna say no **** he did so well. lets see pro MTB racing gets the team funding that grand tour teams get with all the training and physicians and support and johans behind them... yeah lance is a bad-ass, but lance is a bad-ass with the top EVERYTHING in the world supporting him.
