Hey there,
just wanted your take on this bike; is it worth the 350 that the person is charging?

I am not sure which Nishiki it is but it looks to be in pretty decent shape. If you intend to ride it and not flip it, the question is, is it worth it TO YOU?
Not worth that price around here.

There are two Nishikis that use that paint scheme. I think this one is a 1988 Modulus, but I'll need to check it later tonight. Either way, $350 is too high. Typical is $200, add $50 because it looks to be in very good condition. So $250 would be my estimate. Of course your location could influence the value if you are in a high bike demand area. In most areas, once you hit $350, your into brifter equipped road bikes. Unless the seller finds a Nishiki collector, it will be hard to get $350.

I can usualy get $300 +/- for a very nice 105 bike.

The paint on the head tube does not line up with the 88 Modulus. This doesn't mean much except it's not that model. Also the 88 Modulus had Exage components, not 105.
To the OP: Apparently, Miamijim's area sells a little higher than we do around here (Raleigh). That comes as no surprise as different areas bring slightly different prices.
Like Rocco, $250 around here, maybe could push it to $275. $300 plus is reserved for brifter bikes, touring bikes, and truly collectables.
