Hi all looking for some advice on which bike to get, basically decided to get back into recreational mountain biking, on and off road, prob on some light trails, nothing hardcore and prob only every weekend or so and basically need a new bike. my budget is about $200 and there's two bikes i'm considering;

http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/browse/Summer/BikesAccessories/BikesFullSuspension/PRDOVR~0711549P/CCM%2BTorrent%2B26-in%2BFull%2BSuspension%2BBike%252C%2BAdult.jsp

http://www.sportchek.ca/sportchek/do/style?menuId=61&styleId=47482

I know these aren't considered to be decent bikes, but for my budget and that I just want a bike for some light trail riding i think they should be suitable.

I know the advantages and disadvantages of soft and hard tail, but the CCM Torrents doesn'tt have fittings for a rear disc brake.

what do you guys think?

thanks for the help!

Of the two I'd get the Sportchek one.

Yep, go with the Sportchek. It will hold up better in the long run. You can always upgrade any thing that breaks.
The rear shock on the other one is not worth 2 cents, and will end up breaking and causing you more problems than you want. Your not going to find a "real" full suspension bike that is brand new for less than $1500.
