OlRob, I can't say about the road conditions in or around Tift County, but there is a century coming up in Albany on the 12th of September. You might want to check it out. It is called the Nut Roll and it is posted on the web. Have fun.

The Honey Bee Festival in Hahira has a ride. I think we are doing the 60 mile.

I received this info this morning. The ride is ~45 miles east of Tifton.
Just a reminder to all who are not doing Six Gap next Sat- Sept 26- we will be doing a metric century in Douglas, GA. There is a short route available.
Starts at (and support provided by) Walmart Distribution Center to raise funds for Childrens Miracle Network. More info at this link http://www.freewebs.com/douglasbikerides/cmnbikeride.htm

I got a speeding ticket in Tifton last March on the way to Daytona Beach. Friendly police officers and stuff :(
