Aren't you the chick that waxes and spit shines thier bikes after every ride? OCB? Actually this thread has potential, I'll post up some dirty (filthy) bike pics later tonight. Also has great joke potential too, considering all the wise muffins on this site.

Siu, maybe you should show us a before and after picture. Take a picture at the trailhead, BEFORE you get home since you won't be able to help yourself once you get there and there'd be no evidence of a dirty, well ridden bike! :D

went out for a ride today.
As soon as we hit the mountain it poured on us. Classic German Weather... Sunny to thunder storm.
Had to take refuge in the castle at the top of the mountain. (LOL, honestly... how many people can say that..... and be serious)
then went back down, and another 17 mile jaunt in the rain/mud.
excuse the pics, was trying out my new camera phone in low light conditions.
was rushing to, so shaky,
you get the point anyway lol.

Interesting tires you have.
Looks like they'd roll good on hard surfaces,
do they grip well off the beaten path?

It is actually kind of an old pic-I don't use them anymore, but yes, they do alright on fire roads and such. I wouldn't take them on singletrack with any kind of tech to it though. This was when I had only one bike and wanted it to be suitable for everything-which it really wasn't-it was mediocre at on and off road. A compromise I guess.
Old bike . . . dirt's stayed about the same though.

yeah i had wanted to go with a dragon pro but with the parts i had and a few good deals along the way this ended up being cheaper. i still want to get a new wheelset but i am considering picking up a breezer lighting frame and turning the inbred into a rigid ss.

Chel, has anyone ever suggested that you maybe spend too much time searching the web?
Nah...I just saw that somewhere at some point and knew what to punch into the G'machine to make it pop out.
