The good deals like this one will not last long enough for a "what do you think of this one" thread unfortunately. Best bet is to review this forum, particularly the valuation subforum, and you will quickly become a bicycle valuation expert!

Around here, the great deals go super fast, and the good deals last a day or two.

So then it is a good deal? I just ask because you said a good deal like this one wont last very long.

The Peloton for $200 is a good deal IMHO. It appears to be an '85 model, and that year was one model below the Paramount so it's a high end bike. It looks like somebody swapped the Sun Tour components for Shimano 600 and 105.

Yeah, I like that Peloton for that price.

The Paramount was a smokin hot deal. The Peloton is a pretty good deal (depending on condition, can only tell that in person) and should not last very long in a good market. Of course, before you buy anything, you really need to know your size and what type of gearing you are looking for.

Awesome, thanks for the input guys. Hopefully before long I can learn more and not have to ask such stupid questions but I appreciate the help.
