Not sure how many of you have met Gabe, but the guy is a well liked and respected part of the New York bicycle/track racing/alleycat/all-around-good-people world in these parts, as well as being a member of the New York Fixed.gr board.
Unfortunately, Gabe was involved in a serious crash last week while biking in San Francisco and is currently laid up in the hospital there. Soooo we're having a benefit!
A lot of people are coming out to support for this, and there are all sorts of events going on through the week (message me for details on any of this), including people getting together for drinks/donations in Queens on Wednesday, a short Alleycat on Friday and culminating in the main event, a full-on party fundraiser at The Wreck Room, 940 Flushing Ave in Brooklyn. 8/21/09, 7pm-Late. Bands! DJ's! Drink specials!
