Just wondering if any one has bought this. I am interested in learning how to do some basic bike repair on my mountain bikes. Just wanted to know if this is worth the money or is there some other book/magazine out there that is better for learning this kind of stuff.

Good Book. I have an older version, you can learn a lot from it.

You can usually find most of the same information online.

Not exactly....

I have the book, and it teaches you how in a step by step process. It mostly tells about the basics like brakes, gears, etc. , BUT if you want to get into some harder fixes, it also has those, such as: Wheel building, truing, info on frame materials, and a whole ton of other stuff. I highly reccommend the book if you want to learn more about bike mechanics.

I have it and it's acceptable, but "Zinn and the art of (Road/Mountain) Bike Repair" is better.
