Hi, longtime resident of Honolulu here, I just got a singlespeed MTB and would like to ride around and maybe get some solitude. Where do people go?

The LBSs have a book, by a local, with the full details of trails for all islands. Good book.

In my opinion, Maui and Oahu have the best trails.

St. Louis Heights is likely the closest trail to you.

Thanks for the advice, both serious and tongue-in-cheek.

The book(s) are by John Alford.

His first book just covered Oahu and the second one covered the main islands.

listed price is high for what I paid.
