Being a bike junkie, I have a Trance X2 FS and a Specialized HT that are my main rides when not riding the roadie. I also have a Fisher Wahoo non-disk that is just sitting around collecting dust. I thought about selling it, but my younger son sometimes rides it when I can get him off his We the People and out on the trails. Would it make sense to build the Wahoo frame up over the winter and sink a little money in it? It has somewhat decent components (Deore) Maybe go on a scavenger hunt for decent used parts to cheaply put together a cool ride? Maybe add some hydraulic disks, better forks, etc….or would I just be throwing money away? I think the frame is pretty slick…love the silver/white paint. Thoughts?
