I’ll be visiting Portland from Saturday into early next week, and I don’t feel like the visit would be complete if I didn’t take advantage of the opportunity to bike everywhere. So, if there are any beaters that you are looking to either get rid of for cheap or are willing to rent out, please email me. I’d prefer an old inconspicuous road bike, but I’m up for anything as long as it will get me around. I’m about 5’9”, and my wife is around 5’4”.

Please pm if you have any (working) bikes that you are looking to get rid of...

EDIT: Also up for any advice on good bike rental shops around Portland.

A really good bike shop with $7 day rental is 7 Corners Cycles at 3218 SE 21st Ave. PDX 97202. I work for the Portland Opera, and we use their bikes all the time for visiting artists. The owner, Corey Cartwright, is a great guy, and he will set you up with what you need.
